A grocery list is not a task. "Book ideas" has no due date. The Wi-Fi password is neither. Checklists with progress
Any note can carry a checklist — groceries, packing, gift ideas. Checked items strike through, the card shows 2/4 progress at a glance.
Photos and formatting
Attach photos on iPhone, add bold and structure with lightweight markup. A recipe with a picture of the dish is a note, not a task with an essay inside.
Colors, pins and folders
Twelve highlight colors — the same palette as tasks. Pin what matters, group the rest into folders, find anything with search.
Synced with the web version
Notes travel with you: type a packing list on your laptop in the browser version, check things off from your phone at the airport. Sync is live and two-way; both sides work offline and catch up when the network returns.

Are notes free?
Yes — notes, checklists, photos and sync are all part of the free app. Eva has no premium tier.
Where are my notes stored?
On your device. If you enable the web version, notes sync through Eva's server so both devices see them; you can turn sync off at any time.
Can I turn a note into a task?
Notes and tasks stay separate on purpose — a note has no date breathing down your neck. When something needs a deadline, add it as a task in the same app.
